Established by the Canadian Phlebotomy Technicians Group Inc. in 2022, National Phlebotomy Technicians Recognition Week™ honors the tremendous contributions Phlebotomy Technicians make to healthcare. Our mission is to raise awareness of the profession and recognize Phlebotomy Technicians nationally as these individuals provide an invaluable service in their practice. They are skilled in performing various procedures such as venipuncture, micro-collection, and specimen processing while ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.
